Library Latin American School

About

The books and resources available in this library expand access to the literature, history, and cultural knowledge of Latin America, enriching students’ learning and fostering appreciation of diversity.

The Latin American School Library is a project that arises with the commitment of the school to promote the appreciation of the diverse cultures of Latin America. As a non-profit educational organization dedicated to informing students about these rich and varied cultures, Latin American School (LATAMSchool) takes pride in offering a comprehensive and personalized learning experience.
Starting from a focus on Spanish language proficiency, arts, and Latin American culture, as well as mathematics and technological innovation, the Latin American School Library becomes an emblematic space that reflects these fundamental values. This library not only houses books but also acts as a center of knowledge and celebration of the identities and traditions of Latin America.
The art project associated with the creation of the Latin American School Library is a tangible expression of this commitment to culture and creativity. Guided by the artist Miguel Brown, students embark on a journey to represent significant cultural elements of their respective countries and communities. From myths and legends to symbols, colors, and emblematic landscapes, each artwork in the library tells a unique story, deepening cultural understanding and promoting pride in Latin American roots.

Gallery

In addition to being an art project, the Latin American School Library is conceived as a vital educational resource. The books and resources available in this library expand access to Latin American literature, history, and cultural knowledge, enriching students’ learning and fostering appreciation for diversity.
The creation of the Latin American School Library is a testament to LATAMSchool’s commitment to comprehensive education and cultural enrichment. Through this project, the school not only provides a space for learning and research but also celebrates the diversity and richness of Latin American cultures, inspiring students to explore, learn, and grow in an environment that values identity and creativity.
